Serotek has partnered with DeWitt and Associates to create a line of TrainingWare designed for use by individuals and training facilities to increase independent living skills through the use of a computer.
No prior computer skills are necessary and there is no prerequisite training. Gain full accessibility in a single course! In just a few hours, people who are new to computers or accessibility software can understand how to use System Access, send and receive email, surf the Internet, participate in online shopping, utilize Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, MS Word and Excel, and perform many other computer-related tasks for personal and business needs.
There is also an easy-to-use TrainingWare teacher's package for those who are new to working with blind and low-vision students.
Packages including a printed teacher's manual and student workbook, along with a CD containing these materials in MS Word and Braille-ready formats for individual use and with a site license for use in training facilities. A copy of the student workbook in Daisy format is also available, and can be downloaded for use on a computer or portable device such as the Victor Reader Stream.
